Silver and gold day...

Jack(IN)

New member
Went to fireworks in town here, yesterday found 79 coins with a total of $6.19. Today went and hunted slowly, older Park, hard to find goodies here anymore but possible. Found four clad quarters, four clad dimes, two clad nickels, six clad pennies, and these goodies, a 1908 Barber Quarter maybe four inches deep, a 1923 Merc, 1911 "V" Nickel, 1882 Indian, five wheats(1911, 1914, 1916, 1939, 1940), and eyeballed this 10K bracelet.

WTG Jack! Finding a Barber Quarter in a well worked park just means that nobody has really taken the time to work it very carefully using a pattern. You just may have to go back and start on one end of this park and start using a pattern. Work it hard and slow and you will definitly find more older coins like the ones you have posted. Congrat's on the Gold Bracelet find also. Funny nobody else seen it shining in the sunlight! You got lucky Jack! Lastly, if there is Indians in the 1880's then there just might be a Seated waiting for your next arrival. Good Luck and HH.

All finds are in pockets to me, seldoma lone coin, when I hit a coin I grid, Park is huge, and I've talked to many who just won't hunt it any more because its hunted out. I've got 68 Indians from this Park, a Barber Half at four inches, and at least 25 other silvers the last couple years...I have also hunted for hours and come home with a memorial penny, pockets, very little easy stuff, mostly digging in the trashy areas but it pays off!!
