Silver and Gold ring day. 4 rings for the year, 2 Silver, 2 Gold

Went out to do a ring recovery today and found a Black Hills Gold ring and a nice 925 Silver ring but didnt find the one I went out looking for, The Ring was lost years ago but with as many coins and nickles I found I dont think the park has been detected in the recent past. The first ring for the year was a little sterling ring that I posted earlier this month. The first gold for the year didnt get filmed coming out of the ground but I took a pic before I sold it. I got about 3 times gold value for it. It was 14k and a size 9.5. I got $150 for it. The two I found today are the two pictured together. They came out of separate holes about 4 or 5 inches deep. The silver one was 12-48 and 12-49 and the little gold one was 12-3. I also have found two Sacajawea dollars this month on different days. Idigid

you sold the gold the same day you found it?

It was 3 or 4 days later. I had my 7 gram ring on Craigslist and I got a call from this guy who was getting married and he told me that he needed a size 9 or 10. I told him I had just found one and I would clean it up and let him look at it. He bought it the third day after I found it. It is the ring that is in the box. Idigid

Some one went too Jereds!!! lol

Nice finds, and I'm sure you exhausted all efforts to find the original owner before you sold it. I have only found one 925 ring in the last two years and you have been blessed.

Congrats on finds,

Moose

So far I have never been able find the owner of a ring i dug that wasnt a class ring. I found that one about 5 or so inches down so finding the owner would be pretty slim. If you guys ever sell your dug rings most jewelry stores will give you some free boxes if you ask. I also suggest you put your dug rings on Craigslist for 1 1/2 to 2 times gold value before you sell them to a scrap gold store. I find homes for most my gold and some of my silver that way> Idigid
