Silver and gold weekend...

Jack(IN)

New member
Between long days and then being sick the last week or so just haven't been able to get out until this weekend. Saturday was a great day for digging, today was anotrher story, windy, cold and on and off rain. Found my second 1972 Class ring from the same HS, a silver ring, a Walker Half(41), five Mercs(19-S, 20, 44-D, 45, 45-D), 1907 Barber Dime 25 wheats (1919- 1957-D)and seven bucks in clad!!

Nice finds! Apparently this spot of yours has never really been worked hard for those kind of finds still to be there. Nice Class Ring. Those are hard to come by and I have only dug 3 Class Rings since fall of 2001. Also. WTG with the Walker. Those are fun to find and nice lot of Merc's and congrat's on the Barber Dime. Hope there is more where that came from and Good Luck and HH.

The class ring is odd because I found another 1972 maybe thirty or so feet away from where I dug this one. Hope to hit there again next weekend and see what comes from the ground!! I enjoy those "James" kind of hunts!!

Some great finds there as usual. That's a lot more silver than I have found in a day. Any chance on getting that ring back to the owner? I've never been fortunate enough to find a HS ring yet. What is that other neat relic in the upper right hand corner of your pic?

Very, very nice Jack!! Not a bad haul at all my friend.........:) Love that big silver. I win a few from time to time at our club hunts, but it's more fun to dig them out of the ground. HH.

Nice finds! Two class rings that close together makes me wonder.... was this a secluded spot??

old schools are the best. Nice also to find a couple rings with all those coins.
