silver day...2 days back to back, Very unusual for me!

...After reading Coilfishers post...I took a break from the beach and went to an old park yesterday and hit the 63 Washington shallow. So I went back this am and hit one silver rosie there, then over to another park and hit another. The dirt is bone dry sand gravel mixture. Coins were shallow, Sens 53 -3 thresh, regular totlot program, 1 disc...F70 ... this makes 3 silver dimes and the one Q for this month...very unusual for me! Theres more old silver in that second park...I dont think its been swept..there used to be a house there, and its a natural cut across to a very old store, just been made, lots of clad in the totlot..tucked into a old and private neighborhood...and its right around the corner, I can see why you guys get hooked on hunting old silver...
total coins for the year...3968, $315.04 Oh, the beach has been a real bust so far...

I am impressed!!! Wow just about 4,000. That is some good detecting. Those are some nice silvers also.
I am not finding much here on the beach. On the hot days I am just going to the beach and cranking up the sens on the F70 and digging almost all repeatable targets and still not finding much. Great detecting Mud and some nice finds.... Z

Nice on the silvers, mud. Yep, a couple more silver pieces and you will be a "dead duck" for hunting clad. Something about that silver that gets in ones blood. HH jim tn

I went out with the F70 today and hit the park.
No silver but I sure find a bunch of clad.

I got a sterling ring and a silver nickel (didn't post that yet) this week but with my Minelab.
So didn't post it here.

You got me beat on those today! All I got was about $3 in clad.

What you going to do with that $315 clad count???
