Silver Pocket Spill

Well, I guess that's what you'd call it. I got out this morning to an open field. I got a screaming silver hit, dug the plug, and I saw a silver rim sticking out of side of the hole. Hesitated for a little while trying to guess what it could be. Barber quarter! Filled the hole in, re-scanned and there was still silver in there. '23 merc.
I also dug a few earlier wheats and some clad. My buddy did great, he dug a Barber/merc/rosie dime trifecta, and a v-nick/buff/war nickel trifecta too! Plus he dug a couple indians.
HH all, amc
