if you have Andys book i use his coin program but i use full tones. In 12K silver can come in at 88 and above, generally. if its a thin dime it may come in a bit lower...
Depending on the site and how much trash there is i will tweak the settings. very trashy i will cut tx power to 2, reactivity at 2 or 3 and go slow. i like to run reactivity at 2 or 1 if i can but in trash you might have to go to 3.
i have an identical program right next to in 4K to check for rusted bottle caps as they sound soooo sweet around 94 in 12K but in 4K they stay around the 94 but if its silver the number will drop.
give that a try and let us/me know how its going...
