Silver ring

Found this what I think is a 40's or 50's era ring.?. To me it looks like a oriental mermaid holding a lotus flower? What do you see? Age guess?
The photo of the ring next to the silver quarter is a before cleaning picture.
 
I'm with you, looks like an oriental mermaid. What an interesting find. Can see it's large, compared with the quarter. The quarter sure is dark. I got a discolored quarter once, but most silver seems white right out of the ground. Great job on both finds!

I should have mentioned this is a fresh water hunt find. older silver out of fresh water is very grayish.
