Tabman,
Actually, I have more than 5 as the list under my name is not caught up. I have the Silver Sabre, Conquistador, Eldorado, Cortez, DeLeon, Bandido II and Compadre all umax models and a Vaquero and Tiger Shark. Also an older Whites Coinmaster, a Prizm 6T and an MXT. Several Treasure Mate pinpointers, several Garrett pro pointers and a bunch of coils, headphones etc. I'm in the middle of a move to a near by town currently, but when I get settled and into a stable routine, I'll probably down size a bit. I've picked them all up over the last 14 or 15 years, all used so the cost hasn't been as bad as one might think, but I think it's pretty obvious that I'm hooked on detecting. I may decide to let several go to be replaced by an Outlaw in the future. IMHO the Tesoros are just more fun than many detectors out there due to the light weight and simplicity on most models. For all the hype written on different brands and models, other than the bell and whistle list, in the end it still depends on a beep over the target and retrieval to see what it really is and while some will go deeper than others, I don't want to dig halfway to China, anyway.
