Silver Streak Continues with the 11" Coil - 11 Silver Dimes!

Got out today for most likely the last hunt of the year- much colder weather is coming and the ground is frozen in spots, making it the consistency of ice cream for the first 2 inches or so already! :surrender: Went to a park today I've never hunted, and several signals in I got the coil over a 1930 Merc sitting at about 8 inches! I used Reactivity 3 4kHz, and it sniffed out the dime with no trouble! Dug a ton of aluminum and deep iron, and finally after about 4 hours, got over a 1952 Wheat at 7" or so. The ground is very mineralized with the bar reading "half filled" almost the entire hunt. Mike was using a pulse-induction pinpointer that outguns the Carrot at about a 2:1 ratio! It was nice to be able to indicate a coin 4" deeper than the bottom of the hole - the Carrot just can't reach that far especially in our soil - many thanks to Mike today for the help!

Since picking up this new-to-me 11" coil about 6 weeks ago, it has not failed to find silver on each and every hunt! I've found an inlaid silver spoon in Pueblo, a nosering, a finger ring, a small earring, and 11 silver dimes including 2 Seateds - but this is probably IT for the year - hate to say

Will have to get creative to be able to pull silver while the ground is frozen - not sure I'm up for that!

Well, the last few hunts you had certainly are a nice way for your season to end if it in fact does. Nice group of silvers. Pick axe or dynamite! Or better yet, go south young man, go south! HH jim tn

Amazing finds! Too bad that the weather will slow you down. Down here in South Texas the hunting gets better the cooler it gets. The rains we've had sure helps also. Good job!
