SILVER SURPRISE

WENT OUT TODAY FOR ONE HOUR BEFORE THE GAME STARTED. AND FOUND THIS RING. IT LOOKS LIKE A HIGH SCHOOL RING THAT THEY MAKE IN SCHOOL. THERE ISN'T ANY STAMPING ON IT. JUST LIKE A SCHOOL PROJECT RING. IT'S HEAVY. IT WEIGHS 11.3 GRAMS, AND SHINED UP BEAUTIFUL WITH A LITTLE BAKING SODA AND FEW DROPS OF WATER. MY GUESS, IT'S SOLID SILVER. HOPE YOU LIKE THE PIX.

EddieNice pixs and nice ring. I hope it is silver, but my guess if it's a high school ring project like you think it might be I'd say it was probably made out of stainless steel. I'm sure a jeweler can tell you what it is for sure. GL & HH.

A coin ring would explain the absence of a purity mark but it's certainly doesn't resemble a coin ring . Nice find regardless of the composition:beers:

Nice find - if it was a school project they probably didn't get an "A" for artistic merit. heh-heh

soo much better than the black stuff in the water. Congrats. I find a lot of rings underwater that have no markings BUT I know they are silver because of how black they are and they shine up nicely, lol well when I shine them. Most go to scrap. In fact 19oz just went to scrap for almost 800.00.

That ring would be in my scrap pile in a heartbeat!!!
