silver test kit

moonshine

Hi friends, I have a few silver coins that I suspect are fake and am looking to buy a small bottle of that silver testing liquid. Is this liquid nitric acid? Does anyone know any place to buy this stuff? Kellyco has it for $5 a bottle but then adds on over 10 dollars to ship. I cringe to spend 66% of the cost of something just to ship it. Where else could I but this stuff? (I mean a place that I could just drive to and pick it up). any ideas?

I once read that you could put a drop of chlorine bleach on an item, and if it doesn't turn black, it's not silver......nge
