Silver things & candidate for bogus board

Dug a bunch of coins today plus these 2 silver stamped rings. Also, got the 1963 dime - about time !
The ring to the right is stamped 10 K but was very scrungy in color. I buffed it and tested it on my acid kit and it's not gold. Besides the 10 K it's stamped Mexico. I'll put it on my growing bogus gold display. Steve in so az

Up here, in Michigan, we're delighted to find the Mexico stuff. If I find anything marked 10k, it's usually white gold but that's rare indeed. What I find more than anything beyond coins is .925 sterling silver. In all the years I've detected, I haven't found more than a half dozen gold rings and that may be a hing estiment. You're dong good bro ... keep on keeping on.

My best ring is mexican silver - 9.5 stamp, and has a gorgeous pink & green mexican opal on it. A very rare find up here in Canada.
Your rings are gorgeous - even the bogus one, but I guess that is something we need to be aware of.
