I went to a house built in the 1840's..There was electrical chatter in one section of the yard .Machine with Disc at iron. Like the BBB of the old BFO detectors. If I turned the sensitivity down, that would mute it some what..Go to all metal and the chatter would almost vanish???? Signal from a TV?..I had found three clad quarters and a silver along the sidewalk line before. Expected a good day..The yard gave up nothing over tabs.. Like someone hit with the disc turned up. All nickels..So, my anticipation was in vain...The only coin of interest was a 3 cent silver. And, I think it came out of the fence pole dirt.Stained, and a slight bent to it..Interesting find because of the size. But, like the green Indian cents,it and a five spot, will get you a Yuppie coffee..First ever in 48 years..Anyway, dog tired and darn if I know where I put that coin. And, on the way home.I saw a neighbor in his back lot, asked , and got permission to hunt it. Come on rain,,I also broke my knife today, and don't think my wife's designer gardening trowel is going to last...Lord, I break that thing and will be in deep foo foo...............Cordially NAD
