Silver Umax and small iron ?

When toggled to the all metal position will the Silver pick up old square head nails. I'm thinking about getting one as light weight unit for farm fields. I want to be able to find small iron to locate areas of activity then adjust my disc accordingly. Had one of these in the past but only used it for park hunting. Thanks Mike
 
My gosh, will it ever! I decided to hunt in a/m mode at a local older school and found PLENTY of nails! And I think the square nails are larger, aren't they? Heck, it will even find bread twist ties-although they will break up slightly. It's the smaller flakes it will not pick up.
 
Ok, thanks slingshot. If memory serves I believe the Silver is an ed120 model so I wasn't sure how far down the disc range went. I see all the amazing finds you guys here on the forum make with the Silver so I'll have to buy another one. Thanks Mike
 
My Silver can definitely pick up nails in the All metal mode.
