found 45 quarters and 20+ nickels and dimes on a park hunt today total $15.71 and a 5 cent singapore coin also. It was a new park I found that doesn't show on my GPS. An upscale area where apparently they have heavy pockets lol

yeah hombre i found about $1.50 of dimes and nickels right on the surface in one big pile, also a few digs had double coins stacked 2 of them quarters.

Good day of detecting. Have you noticed that even though most Tesoros are single tone, with practice you begin to recognize the subtle, but solid, bright tone that quarters give when under the coil? I've gotten to the point that I can call that 4 times out of 5 accurately. Fun stuff.

@barberbill, yeah i am getting pretty good at it, was showing my uncle how to detect the other day and got a hit told him it sounded like a dime, to my surprise and his, it was lol
