Silver x2

Went back to the park where I found the Black Hills Gold ring on Monday, and found some silver this time. From left to right; 1948d Rosie, 1938s Wheatback, 1981 dog license, 1945s War nickel, 1948s Wheatback, Unidentified brass tag in the middle, (IF YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME), then the loaded round is a 38 short colt, a large caliber rimfire case, and a small caliber rimless case

The park is a forested hill on the lake near town. Hundreds of thousands of people have hiked this park since before the turn of the century. Could be a lumber tag, is my guess.

Can not be certain about the tag but I have seen some similar that were "Tool Check" tags. When you checked out a tool at your work site they hung the tag with your number in its spot.
