Silvers and Relics at an old Railroad site

On my last couple of hunts for 2020 I decided to go back to an old railroad site that I've hunted many times over the years. I concentrated on some really trashy spots and some overgrown areas that I've avoided in the past
On the first trip I used the Simplex with the 5x9 coil and got a rather beat up 1856 Seated Quarter, a 1945 War Nickle, a few relics and lots of trash.
On the second trip I took the Teknetics T2se with a NEL Sharpshooter 5x9 coil and found a 1907 German 1 Mark, a first year 1916 Merc. Four wheats, 1911, 1930 (two dateless) and 1979 Susan B Anthony one dollar and a few more relics
Getting into those hard to hunt areas paid off this time.... Thanks for looking Y'all and good luck this year.

@757Relics Those are some great finds. Was this site and old train station?

Nice finds I found a 1 mark a year ago in a friends yard I suspect brought back during WW1? not sure.
Mark

I assume the 1916 mercury dime does not have the “D” mintmark?
Still some nice and interesting finds!!:clapping::clapping::clapping:
Unfortunately no mint mark.

No it wasn't a train stop but it was some sort of railroad building that shows up on the 1890 maps. I think it was a railroad maintenance building. It was bulldozed long ago but I was able to pinpoint it's location using https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer
