Simplex charging cord

IS THE CHARGING CORD FOR THE SIMMPLEX COMMON TO ALL NOKTA DETECTORS OR

IS IT A CHARGE CORD THAT FITS ONLY THE SIMPLEX.?

I HAVE NEVER HAD A DETECTOR WITH RE CHARABLE BATTERIES. I CAN ONLY RELATE TO CHARGE CORD PROBLEMS
WITH A CELL PHONE. I DO NOT WANT TO BE SOME WHHERE HUNTING AND HAVE THE CORD FAIL. I WOULD HAVE
A SECOND CORD WHEN BUYING THE SIMPLEX.

COST AND AVAILABILITY. DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE COST OF A REPLACEMENT CORD AND WHERE TO BUY?

THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM FOR ME AND THE LAST ONE BEFORE BUYING THE NEW DETECTOR. NO SECOND CORD
NO DETECTOR

Just go to your electronics store, dollar store, Walmart and you can find a USB charge cable, same type used by cellphones, certain cameras, computers etc.
And yes the same type is used for all Nokta Impact, Kruzer, Anfibio, Simplex

I haven't been a big fan of rechargeable batteries, and haven't relied on them for over half-a-century of metal detector use. However, I am making the change-over now.

I have a ready supply of NiMH rechargeable AA batteries that I'll start using in my two Nokta CoRe, Relic and Impact, plus my two Minelab Vanquish 540's that came with NiMH batteries and chargers. Right now I have 6 or 7 of the 4-AA battery chargers and a good supply of AC and Auto power cords .

My Simplex +, like the Kruzer and Anfibio series, has a built-in LiPO battery and they use a different power cord that screws into the socket on the back of the control housing and can be plugged into a wall AC outlet or other charging device to include an automobile socket.

This is a rather sturdy charging cable w/o the tiny clip-in piece like used with cell phones, flashlights, and other devices. It is not prone to breakage and failure. You can always purchase a second 'back-up' charging cable if desired.

That was part of my question
WHERE DO YOU BUY A NEW SIMPLE CORD AND HOW MUCH ARE THEY?
Contact a Nokta / Makro Dealer for pricing. My most-used dealer isn't a Finds Treasure Forum sponsor so I can't list a link. I'll send him a message and find out.

first sentence meant to say "USB charger"

second sentence should have had "same type charger cable" for Kruzer, Anfibio, Simplex

That's what you get for trying to post shortly after getting up in the wee hours...

helpful and less ?????????.

?????? I made an error in my post, so I corrected it. Just to make sure my post was understood correctly.
Is there a problem with that?
