SIMPLEX IN THE WATER

no leaks here

I've not heard of any. Do know, though, it gets the job nicely done on land. Really enjoy using it! HH jim tn

Just used it inthe water this weekend. I;ve heard about more leaking problems from the ML Nox than I have the Noktas

I used the simplex for the first time in fresh water this week. Used it with the wireless headphones and the vibration.
It did very well and of coarse the wireless lite up when the detector wasn't entirely under the water. The vibration
was evident when targets were noted when submerged. With the sounds around with people and the waves,
I felt like I needed a show stopper sound thru the headphones so I ordered the underwater headphones from
Makro. I think the vibration is fine but I tend to be lulled to sleep wondering if I heard something or if I just hit the
sand bottom, which was common in unclear water. Hope this makes sense.

No problems with leaks. I'm a old Tiger Shark hunter also. Went with the Nox 600 last year with waterproof earbuds.
But was always concerned about leaks. Really enjoying the Simplex and seems to be the next ticket for coins and
water hunting.
