Simplex Pinpoint Button.

I have read on one forum of a guy complaining that the pinpoint button is a bit hard to press on the Simplex. Having used the simplex 6 times now i have to say i agree with the guy.
The button is without doubt the hardest pinpoint button to press i have ever seen on a detector and i have used over 100 machines...I would say 30 % less button pressing force would make it much better.
I have only 2 niggles with the simplex . 1 is the pinpoint button force. 2 is the fast timeout of the menu settings when adjusting .Like some have said the timeout should be increased by maybe 6 seconds or so. I found it annoying and amazed just how short a time you have before it reverts back to default..

I agree with the time you have to switch is not enough. However, now that I have used it since November my thumb has learn to move quicker and it’s not a problem anymore. I guess I have learned how to adapt to the detector. I will say, I tend to give in a little more thought before I start pushing buttons so I don’t hesitate and have to start over.

Nokta Makro listened to their consumers and changed the time-out...
...among a few other improvements. And more to come, no doubt.

They will get my business, that´s for sure.

When it comes to the buttons: they have been made that way to be able to resist the water pressure when diving so that the water pressure doesn't set them off by accident.
Nokta Makro takes everything into account, it seems.

the pinpoint button can be tuff, eventually you get it. Simplex is the best bang for buck, hands down
