Simplex Target Indicator Values

Witsend

New member
As an exercise (because I had nothing better to do) I decided to see what various targets would
show on the Simplex ID verses my Deus.

I used the field/pasture setting on the Simplex and my own program on the Dues based on Gold Max.

These values are fresh air close to the coil numbers and do not reflect what you may expect to
see in the ground. Therefore take them as you will.

I know they do not compare with buried targets and every item may show differently depending on depth and
ground conditions, but there you go.

Lessons are:- if you are in the UK using a Simplex and it sounds like a coke can, dig it.

Gold and silver varies greatly on the Simplex with small hammereds being as low as 15 and as high as 90 plus for big silver, so dig everything above 15.

Anyway hope this is useful..........to whomever sees it.

Good hunting everyone.

Further to the above, the TAB function gets removed on publishing, so read the values as

Thanks

Hi Hairymonsterman. Careful of sounding too much like Dave Lee Travis...........You know where that went.

Coke, I have about 4 pieces in my stash and on the Simplex they are below 5, and on the XP below 3.5.

Hopes this helps.

Cheers
