how much discrimination is too much?

I posted this in 2007 and since then we have new Minelab owners who might benefit from this and maybe a few older guys interested as well.

Yeah, isn't that scary.....I hate the thought of leaving a target in the ground...but those dang Pullrings and tabs will wear you out. It's a choose your battle everytime you go out. this is a very good reason why I have no flying eagles ETC......I don't usual dig the tab range....Good post Pete!....Thanks

To dig or not to dig. That is the question. It always depend on where I am hunting. . At the beach, tot lots, volleyball courts, old home sites(everything but iron). In parks filled with thousands and thousands of tabs, I do not dig everything.....Jack

Thanks for the info mate, I use all metal (Iron mask -16) and ferrous tones and dig everything none ferrous for as long as I can!
(which means until I'm to tired, then I'll only go for the "good" signals)

Only in areas littered with pull tabs I do not dig 'em all at once, I go there and dig out a few each time until few remain.

I have not officially announced myself here as a fellow Explorer user, also a Expl. 2. Will do so today.

Good Hunting!
