My wife, grand-daughter and I, three out of five detectorists found gold today, mine in the form of a 2012 females class ring, 10kt, 12 diamonds, peridot birthstone, and the name "Shannon" full name on inner band, my conscience tells me to make at least one diligent effort to find the owner before I claim it as mine, 2.50 in change, windy and cool but a good time was had by all....

nice finds. Return it if you can it's the right thing to do. The world isn't predictable it might open doors(land access) you never dreamed of. Twice that has happened to me with returned class rings.
