skunked

sorry to hear about your trouble
Iv been there with no finds and way too many hours of digging
the worst i lost was my lesche in the snow on my last dig in 2010
How did you lose your computer?

That happened to me on my business computer
lost over two years of work product
i was devastated
make sure when repaired you arrange for a back up with a flash drive
there are other ways too but you need the advise of a professional computer person
hoping you better days and silver finds

When hunting a spot, it is always nice to turn up that first keeper so that I can settle down and focus on the task at hand. I HATE getting skunked. There are times that I refuse to quit until I find something good. But I have to be careful to keep hunting with focus and good technique. Desperation can cause bad habits.

Ahhh the pain of a crashed hard drive! I've lost harddrives on my computers three times now over the years. I keep a flash drive handy and back up any pertinent files, pictures, internet browser bookmarks and all that stuff. I've also burned CD's with copies of pictures and so forth. We feel your pain.

Best of luck getting things back on track.
