Slipped out this evening to my favorite park for two hours and..

rounded up this pile including a silver quarter from that foreign country up north plus a 5 Colones coin from Cost Rica and a 10 Groschen coin from the Republic of Osterreich ( a new one on me )..Many of the coins were deep and all the coins except two quarters and a dime were found under and around one tree, and I didn't get them all as the ground was so hard in spots I couldn't probe at all. Left a couple of quarters that barely made a signal as they were way down in rock hard ground.

The cruddy nickels and dimes gave a squirrely signal so one must investigate these or leave them behind. I find a lot of nickels that other guys miss because they can't interpret the signal, even in bark chips. Little over three bucks in this pile. This park just keeps giving them up. The other beeper swingers keep the playground cleaned out but skip all the loot under the trees. I make a mental note of where all the people congregate to sit and lay under the trees or out in the open. I gave the playground a quick shot and then spent the entire two hours under the one tree. Got a lot of broken, jumpy, signals that turned out to be quarters, dimes, and nickels but you have to interpret these signals or leave the coins for me. :)

You did well in your clad finds:clapping:

Used the 250 on these and use it most of the time. I've got to start using some of the others before they develop an inferiority complex.
