Small coil for Quattro

I'm going to Southern Indiana to hunt an old 1800's farm settlment. What is a good coil to purchase?

Hi Larry, the SunRay 5.5 or 8" coils are great. I highly recommend them. The actual model name is the Stealth X5 and X8. Ok Larry you will like them and happy hunting and God Bless.

Gidday, just a thought: if the ground is relatively clean, then a bigger coil like the 10.5 inch standard for the Quattro is fine. You cover more ground. But if the ground is very trashy, like targets in very close proximity to each other, you'll need a smaller coil to getting inbetween the targets, and help prevent nulling over some targets, if you're using some discrimination. I'd take both coils along, and test the ground, before you make up your mind.:detecting::minelab:

You bet Larry everyday is truly a blessing. I hope your able to determine what coil you need.
