got out after work & hit 3 tot lots with the ace 250 + the sniper coil all these lots had been pre looted as there were nice holes everywhere with junk next to them :rant:.
the sniper coil really did well most of the coins were next to or under the play equipment with a couple popping out next to iron signals hay thanks Mick for getting me motivated to hit around the metal with the small coil that was a great article in the GG&T mag :thumbup: the gold earring was found 4 inch under the metal play stuff in pinpoint it"s 18k i also found $3.60 to add to the kitty.

just realized this is my first gold for the year :clapping: i set myself a goal of 25 bits of gold for the summer

Lofty goal, I would say. I hope you make it. Glad to see your skill outmatched the hunter that got there before you too. 18k gold is a rare find for me.

Just remember to max out the sensitivity when using the sniper. It performs much better than if you drop the sensitivity, particularly if you are hunting with the pinpoint button engaged! I'm not aware of any other detector out there that can hunt next to metal like the Ace/Sniper combo. Hunting next to metal will improve your finds from 15 to 20%!

i"v had the sniper since buying my ACE but i just didn't use it & now that i"v used it i cant seem to take it off :lol:
