Small M6 coil ?

There's a lot of talk about the 5.3 coil for the M6 and very little about the 5" Excelerator although I thought the Excelerator coils went a little deeper. So is the 5.3 the preferred coil for trash. I guess I'm looking for a comparison between the two before I buy.
Thanks

The 5.3Eclipse is about 6.5" in diameter vs the 5" EXcelerator and consider the 5.3 Eclipse an excellent coil for general searching at parks, schools and other areas with trash. Very good depth with 5.3 Eclipse.
The 5" EXcelerator DD is better at target separation and will hit targets missed by the 5.3 Eclipse at spots where the trash is heaviest. Depth is also good but unmasking good targets in high density trash is the most important function of the 5" coil IMHO.
