Is this what they meant in the minelab brochure with "the Quatro MP uses high frequenties to detect small coins?) :D
 
It's a dutch half-cent from around the year 1900. I'll have to lend somebody's lookingglass to see what year it is.... I was amazed that the quatro gave a clear signal, it was at 8" deep.... Regards.. Peter F.
 
Love to hear those stories, one more notch in our guns for Quatro. Who say's this detector won't go deep, I'll meet em at the OK corrall, Ha Ha.
 
I needed a lookingglass to find out that the date was 1901...

I found a washer at about 16" down. The washer was about the same size as this coin. Im amazed at the depth of my quattro.It really is a deep seeking machine, i've been detecting for years with a whites coinmaster 6000d and it dos'nt even come close to this baby.
