Went back to working the 4' strips between foundations this morning. One strip between two foundations was so trash laden I ended the strip with the start of a trash noise over load, headache.
I have a pretty good tolerance for hunting heavy trash, but that stretch nearly got me. Anyway, did manage to sneak up on a 62d Rosie and 4 wheats, besides some Memorials and 2 pieces of clad. The Rosie was one of those recoveries that makes one wonder how it had been missed. It was in about a 12" diameter 3-4" deep depression, so perhaps the bigger coils just swept over the top of the low spot and having the 5" coil on the Omega, I dropped the coil down it the low spot and got that sweet sounding hit with a classic silver dime reading of 85-86 from 4" deep. Summer has descended on us here in the south with temps around 90 for the remainder of the week and no desperately needed rain in sight. HH jim tn
