Small spill - large bullet

Hit some schools this morning - dug 51 coins & a big live bullet. And if you have read my posts over time you know that I frequently dig up live rounds in parks & schools.

These coins were found in the same hole ( none old). The live round was not found with the coins - it was in the tot lot chip bark. Those youngins learning how to be shooters here in Tucson

Along that subject - here's something I'll bet you all don't see where you live. Because anyone 18 or older in Az can carry a loaded gun in public legally ( without a permit)we sometimes see a young guy in T shirt, wearing a loaded gun at the burger joints. Makes one very uncomfortable. steve in so az

Nice spill (always liked to find them) and sure is a large bullet, do you think the kids get these from their army dads or moms and play with them? I've found live ammunition also when I did go detecting! I have some bullets that are very large and made during World War II....I'll have to try and find them and post them! May God Bless! Amen! yeah, the army of drug dealers It's quite a battle zone down here in so az and into Mexico. Almost every day we have news about shootings. Steve

I agree completely. From the picture, I would have guessed it to be an Russian 7.62 / AK47 round.

Yes, even with the lower prices in AZ, I just don't think I would want to live there...but there are areas in St. Louis City and North County I wouldn't want to live or be in either!
