dusted of the exp ll this weekend had 4 small hunts in three days & i"m happy with the finds as i"v hit this area hard over the years.
found 4 Penny's 1910-1950-1964-1964 1 half penny 1914 1 sixpence 1955 1 shilling 1953 & a florin 1963. the 1910 penny was 8-9 inch deep & gave a very scratchy signal.
i was quite surprised at finding the silver charm bracelet as it was 4 inch deep & i was using my 15 inch wot coil :). the silver coins came out of the ground real dirty at this spot as you can see ( you lucky buggers over in the US dig em nice & shiny all the time ) i had to give them the lemon treatment to get them clean.

here's the good stuff

nice coins. I really like the silver ones. I can see where you are. You will not be dealing with cold weather. I am going out now for a swing and it's 22 degrees out, heehee.

Thanks guys yeah its coming up to the hot time of year ( 35C+ ) usually i"v put the explorer away before now till winter but were having a bit of rain lately witch is keeping the ground soft enough to dig some oldies.
hopefully i can get out a few more times before it gets to hot & dig some more silver
