I hunt with the 350 which is pretty much the 250. I got the sniper coil and haven't takin that lottle thing off it yet. I love it for target ID and its not as eratic as the 55 coil....but wow there is a great youtube video and it shows the sniper only goes about 3 to 4 inches max on items and most are in that 1 to 3 inch range. Is that why I love the sniper so much ? I don't have to dig as much ? Just curious on ur comments....I wish I cud get. Iused to the dd and like it.I think it def goes deeper than the sniper
