sniper coil

Been impressed with the depth and TID accuracy I get with my 705 using the 10.5 MF DD coil. Detects my test garden dime at 9" with a fairly accurate TID and the 7" dime comes in consistent tone and TID. What kind of depth and TID accuracy do you think I would experience putting on a 6" HF DD sniper coil? As a reference, my 10x5 HF DD coil will not detect the 9" dime and the 7" dime reads a -8 but is detectable with tone and TID. Southeast Pa. soil.

I have found that -8 tid while while relic hunting is a deep bullet about 50 % of the time. I just figured that out a few months ago. So now when I coin hunt if I get a deep -8 I will be digging it.

What depth do you get with the sniper coil?

I've dug dimes and IH cents at depths of 6-inches. Quarter at 7- inches. It goes deeper in my test garden. But those numbers are for coins I've dug in the field. HH Randy

Like with Digger my 6" DD HF coil will hit a dime out in the field at a little over 6" deep and that is in northern PA moderately bad soil.
