Snow hunt yields some goodies!!!

Looked out on our patio this morning and was greeted with the first white stuff of the season and a temp. of 33. According to the forecast the white stuff was about done and passing north east, so headed off to a wooded area and took a a picture of a road surrounded by woodlands. Aside from snow (I said that word) buildup on the coil, it was a very pleasant hunt and also dug some goodies. I was a little surprised to recover the 1945 silver US/Philippines 10 Centavo's, but I'll take a silver regardless of the model. Also got 2 IH cents, 1904 & 1907, a 1937 Buffalo and 2 1918 wheat cents, as far as older coins go. Got another toasted jack knife, a piece of junk jewelry, some clad and zincers and a few other items. F 75 LTD (camo) with 11" coil and 85 sen, disc 0, 4h tones, b p mode and g b 63-66. HH jim tn

Well Done! What is that Phillipines coin doing there? Hey Jim, take one of those white plastic shopping bags, slip it over your coil, tie a knot in it around the shaft, and swing away! It keeps the snow from gumming up and weighing you down. I got out for an hour today, but no snow here, just blowing and cold. The usual clad at Bottlecap Park, running sens 53, disc 1, -5 thresh knocks out all sorts of chatter. Not a deep program though. Nice finds!

Nice work Jim. Beautiful pictures. The US/Philippines 10 Centavo's was one of the WW2 coins that made it back here after the war. I still haven't picked up an IH. Nice.. Happy Trails...Z

as I was coming out of the woods and about to cross a small bridge I spotted a young lady setting on a log on the edge of the woods. It is not un-common to see a few people wandering around the area, but this young lady was setting on the log in a two piece bathing suit. I didn't want to stare, but did notice it was a skimpy two piece, light blue in color, she had mid brown hair and dark brown eyes and probably wore a 6 1/2 size shoe. I am not sure on the show width, as I didn't want to stare. Now keep in mind, we just had received a couple inches of snow and the temp. maybe was 35 or 36....and here is this young lady setting on a log with maybe 3 or 4 ounces of cloth on. Since I really wasn't dressed to well myself and was wet and muddy up to my knees and pieces of equipment dangling about me, I decided to avoid the bridge and walk down a little further. That is when I spotted a man with a camera set up on a tripod. She was still setting on the log when I walked into the big oak tree about fifty yards away. Lady on the log attired in the two piece is true. I just added a little humor to the sighting. HH jim tn

Thats funny jim and good hunting.Nice coins glad to see your still getting through this winter weather.I seen on the weather channel you guys in tenn.got hit with some snow.I went out the other day and got some wheats but no silver,I needed to get home for to watch the football games so I left early.Went to speedway to get some gatorade and got a 1969 silver half in change haha...you never know...hh rick in mi.

Since you took the longer way around the girl, that you really didn't notice. And you forgot to mention the fact that she had a ring in her navel and a tattoo on her thigh. That is ok with us because we know you just had a passing glance.... I tell my wife those kind of things too...

I must admit she was a sight for old eyes posing on that big log with little on surrounded by snow. I will further admit that all the snow was melting on the path I was on....and not from the air temp, either. LOL HH jim tn
