Snowball is rolling downhill....and its coming our (detectorists) way

I got the same email from the Mayor's office in Louisville.

Problem we have in Michigan is ALL dirt falls under the State Archeologist - even your own property he has control over. He has more authority than the Governor. He in his dislike for detectorists has made things difficult for us. The state parks that are controlled by our Department of Natural Resources has been INSTRUCTED to allow detecting in only some state parks. Others are off limits to detectorists. Who instructed the DNR to ban detecting in some parks? The State Archeoolgist!

We have had bad things happen in Federal property by trespassing detectorists....bad press and legal action to stop things like that from happening again. So irresponsible detectorists destroy our image. State Archeologists with their own agenda and hatred of us have set up Federal bans and State bans...the easy way out for county, city and others is to follow the leaders and ban us from detecting in public.

Our detecting club tried to get the DNR to change policy because they failed to follow their own rules and policies....failed to invite insight and comments from those who the change would effect...the detectorists..and they changed the policy anyway. We had a similar reach out program for email, phone, etc. Apparently they got word and were not in the office that day to take calls. The head of the DNR was changed to someone else....so they could say 'we don't know'....deniable plausibilty.

Things like this are why there are things like The Michigan Militia.

All I can say things will get worse regardless of what actions are taken...the precedents are already set (Federal and State policieis) and with Good Ol' Boy justice system the common man will lose even more right...things like "the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness:.

Heaven help us.

Hi Pete...........I listened to Jay Sekulow on the radio today as I was going to and coming back from the bank! Was going to go to Aldi's for food but big, black clouds were appearing in the Southwest and since it has been rather warm, especially today, I was afraid of a severe storm or tornado coming while I was out.....so still haven't went to fill up my cuboard again....and it is raining. Sure was windy today....every hair on my head stood up and waved at the other!

He and his people were able to get some of the fat out of the stimulus pkg, but still couldn't get the non-payment of Gov't funds to the University's and Schools, if they have religious groups meet in their buildings when there isn't any classes going stopped! Talk about discrimination....everyone is okay but we Christians! Never tell anyone not to cheat, steal and lie because it isn't politically correct! Many of our Gov't leaders must have not attended Boy Scout or Girl Scout clubs or went to camp, for they lie and cheat on taxes and their wives, so easily, that they don't want anyone else to live morally! God help us for sure.....but look up our redemption draws nigh and won't be long, as the Book of Revelation is sure being fulfilled! Keep the faith and give God the glory and praise in all things! I got the same response as did many others! The problems is that the state archy's have way too much power! here a 1959 penny is historical! Give me a break! It isn't even a wheat cent! GRRRRR!!!!! this aint over!
