How do you feel about the detector? A lot of potential for the price? Pm me if you don't want to air it here.

Thanks Mark ( ohio )

Earlier this week, I was told by Fisher that none have shipped to customers yet. Omly test units have been shipped.

I was going to ask the same question last night.............I've got a shoulder injury but if its that light, just maybe................

The release date keeps getting pushed out, first it was to ship in May, then June 3.....and now it's June 11....perhaps they found some issues and are working out any last minute kinks.... hopefully they learned something from the F75 Upgrade disaster

They have officially posted on Facebook and emailed dealers today that 6/17 is the shipping date. The manuals are now online as well. Was surprised to see F22 has assignable tones as well!

He's a distributor and has what is known as a "marketing test" detector. Manufacturers send out early production samples to distributors, dealers, reviewers etc. so that they can do stuff like make the videos that the guy in OZ has done. You might recall back in the pre internet days that reviews in detector mags sometimes referred to issues discovered with a machine during the reviewer's use of it, along with comments to the effect that the manufacturer has changed or corrected the issue prior to release of shipments for sale.

This is different from the testing of prototype machines which is done by folks with special expertise in order to "wring out" the prototypes, identify shortcomings, etc. prior to finalizing the design and starting production.

Possibly, the new F's are having trouble detecting low conductivity targets like nickels like the new BH LRP. They seem to share the same processes.

My dealer just contacted me and said he should have the F44 in his hands in a few days. Looking forward to giving it a workout.

I was told by someone at the factory that the delay was due to them deciding to make last minute improvements in the sealing of the unit. They decided the improvement was worth taking a hit on the delivery date.

to have one here by then, for a gift ...TO Me From Me.....That way I always get what I want...heheheeee.

Let me know who your dealing with in a PM..

Thanks Mark ( ohio )

Looks like I"ll have them Monday according to tracking but they will be in town on Saturday so I will see if I can get them and sent out.

This shipment direct from factory I have is sold out. But I can get them quicker from Distro next week when they have them as well.

I'll personally be taking the F22 for spin.

Craig

Thanks Craig. You're a good guy to do business with. Although my wallet doesn't like it, I'm sure I'll make many more purchases from you in the future.
