Keep in mind, if you will, tat I am a very avid detectorist and have been at this great sport since I built my first 'metal/mineral locator' in March of '65. My time spent sitting in front of a computer could be better spent doing research to be ready for the coming hunting weather. My distractions, however, is trying to do what I can do, and contribute what I have learned, so that others might learn a little more about their metal detectors and maybe enjoy a little more success afield.
I was a Tesoro Dealer from '83 tru '04 and, right now, I am not. I sell White's as most readers know but my posts on this Tesoro Forum are not aimed at pushing something else, just learning the strengths and weaknesses of the detectors that you might be using. As a matter of fact, the main detectors I look for on a trade-in ,or to purchase if I run across a good deal, ARE mainly Tesoro models. Why? Because since '83, some of my favorite Tesoro's have accounted for a big chuck of the oldest coins I have found.
