Just got home from my fall 🇬🇧 trip. Had a great hunt and my team was very good this time so my job was easier. Plugging along in the last hour of my trip I got a nice small solid 64 in my UK program and popped it out thinking another piece of crap But no
25 BC 1/4 Stater. Big fun.
It’s not over until the last swing.

Proper English Gold dance did follow this find but I’ll spare you.

Interesting...but, I'm from Texas. WHAT THE HECK IS IT???

Congrats on the gold stater. Are they going to declare it treasure & take it from you?
Awesome find!

Just curious.

Thanks.
No it will be fine. It will go through the process then I'll settle up with the land owner for 1/2 of the worth and then it will come home with me in the spring most likely.

Congrats! Always has been my rule of thumb to swing all the way out and back.

WOW that's awesome.
Don't think I'll ever be in a place to find one.
Congrats

Congratulation on a stator! I. Hope to get over one next spring when I go back to England. The last time I went (October 13) I didn’t even find a hammered. Aiming high this time with my Deus 2. Do you have a special programmed or using a tekkna program?

Hello
I think I’ve been to England 14 times over the years and have found many many fantastic things over the years including two gold coins and dozens of hammered coins. I have been skunked on hammered on two trips. It’s just how it goes. You have to get your coil over it. I run my own UK program But I wouldn’t be overly concerned about the program you run as long as it’s not something crazy. Too much YouTube is a mistake. Get out there.

Damn! I’ll bet you were disappointed it wasn’t a war nickel some GI lost:lol: Fantastic stuff, seeing coins most people including me didn’t even know existed is a lesson in the possibilities. And…”Too much YouTube is a mistake”…you ain’t kidding. The “paralysis by analysis” condition is a real thing.
