When I got home I washed it and googled "small gold coin panda" and found out what it was. I wish it were bigger but its the smallest one - 1/20th ounce. I'm gonna get it reset and put it on a necklace for my wife. That ought to be good for a new pinpointer don't you think?
I'd say that your chances of finding a gold coin are a lot better than mine, but heck you already found yours. Nice going and HH.
With the explorer I've been digging most everything just to learn the language, and thats probably the only reason I found it. It hit a little lower than pulltabs, but was very solid and repeatable. I didn't take pictures of all the trash, bottle caps, tabs, wire, cans, and rusty nails but I had a bag full.
I didn't want to uproot the whole park so I filled the hole, and now the signal disappeared! What gives?
Congratulations on that Gold Coin Backlashd! That is one sweet find you got!backlashd said:Maybe someone can help me out with something though. I had one target that gave a repeatable high silver tone like a quarter from all directions. I dug down about to my elbow and couldn't find it. Then the signal "moved" about 4 inches closer to me.
Oh well, good exercise I guess. JJ
