7 hour hunt starting at 7AM on the outgoing tide.....Started at one of the passes and moved up the beach with the current.Hit lots of coins, sinkers, caps, tabs, dog tag, hoops, and two rings.....Mexico 925/8.8g and a junker!Thought that was going to be it as I was nearing my starting point at the end of the 6th hour.I was maybe 100 yards from getting out of the water at my early morning starting point when my 4th ring with diamonds for the month, and by far one of my best recovery,s to date, showed up in the scoop!I was to say the least...stunned and skeptical.Could not see any markings with my eyes, but it had weight 7.4g and it sure looked good!!!Not till I got home did I see the 14k..Looks like 1 nice size diamond and 52 smaller ones.....heading for my jeweler now to see what he thinks. HH GL ALL

Keep that streak going! I believe we are just now coming into the season up here..the Big Water is near 70, and the air temp finally got into the 80's today and supposed to be in the 90's for a week, so hopefully theres enough gold and silver wearers that will get in the water for a little this year....all of us have been sanded in real bad, and attempting fresh drops or something...thanks for keeping us North boys motivated!
