sobering news from my sister that was coming home next summer....

..she is going back to her husband-the one that has treated her like !#$% for the last 40 years...she says"I have to try it one more time,so I can know I did everything I could for our relationship"...SO:there goes our welcome home party;and my sister flying out to meet her next summer...I would like to think 40 years is more than enough time for somebody to prove whether or not they will change-OK,I KNOW we are all works in progress in God's eyes;but Ive seen first hand what my sister has gone through at the hands of her "loving husband"..all I know is if she wants to go back to that;its her choice-.BUT;I Dont want to -and I WONT- see him.Prayers,please-for my sister ,Jan-and her 'husband"...

for some reason people think that it has to be 'me' - 'my fault' - 'if I did something different' and so they return to a bad situation. I know a woman who had done the same thing...went back after physical abuse again and again...even knowing the 'man' even had shoved his own mother down steps and broke her hip. To him everything is someone else's fault...sets up no win situations...and claims he is the victim.

All I can do is pray for her safety and pray she will have her eyes opened by God to see the situation as He sees it...in Truth. May her angels keep her from harm.
