Soccer field success....goooooooold!

Downstream

New member
Spent a few hours at a soccer / lacrosse field that I hadn't hit before. I've found that for park type settings, I get my best bang for the buck on sports fields. This is my sixth gold ring from soccer fields. I was using an Xterra 705 and pulled this 3.25 gram 14K gold band from 7" down. The TID rang out nicely at +12 without too much warbling. Although there's still trash on the fields it's a lot less relative to the rest of a park.

Congrat's on finding the nice gold ring....

The sports fields is my place to go for finding gold rings

Awesome! It's been awhile since I've pulled some gold up. Congrats!!!

Congrats! I'm still amazed at you guys finding so much gold on sports fields, that's not ever been a hot spot for me.

Great find!
I never seem to find gold at sports fields, but I do find silver jewelry along sidelines.

My one and only gold ring was found on the edge of a soccer field! Nice find....

Congrats on the excellent find. Nicely done. Think how many others might have walked over it, suspecting a nickel or trash! HH Randy

my one and only gold ring was found at a little league baseball field behind a backstop. looked like it had been there a while even though it wasn't very deep. also looked like it had been hit by a mower blade judging by the big ding in it and the fact that the setting was missing. still rang up over $100 though!

I used the stock 9" concentric
