We were up in West Branch this weekend.Sunday;I was up at 7 am......Looked outside;sure looked creepy.....My in-laws live at the end of a dead-end road in the Ogemaw Hills,surrounded by woods on all sides-Because of the tropics-like weather we had over the weekend;it was REAL DARK outside and really foggy;,sky all clouded over;branches hanging down low from all the torrential rains we had all weekend,and thundering and lightning non-stop.......Kinda reminded me of what you-know-who's
playground would look like-EXTREMELY unsettling...... ON A LIGHTER NOTE;this coming weekend ,my Dr. and his wife that attend our church are hosting a family reunion/get-together/picnic to honor their daughter and son-in-law;that recently got married in Egypt(Son in law is from there);and a send-off for them,as the newly-wed couple is moving to Calgary;I believe,in Canada; come September-AND all their church family is invited!!!It is a pot-luck;SO:Being that on the weather they are saying it'll be in the 90's again this weekend;I called them and said HOW ABOUT I bring a couple BIG PAILS OF ICE CREAM"???
YA KNOW HOW IT GOES:"WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM"!!!....THATS where its at.......
BEST PART???There will be NO ALCOHOL at this get-together...I LOVE these kind of parties:N/A-'CAUSE??? A BIG problem-AND the ones that come only for that 1 thing-Are eliminated right off the bat!!!
