Sold my Safari

Onus

New member
Well, I finally gave up on my Safari. I had it for over a year and it never would talk to me in a language I could understand. I dug so many dry holes it drove me nuts and I never did have a decent find. Others have sworn by it and seem to love theirs, but it just doesn't suit me I guess? I am investing in a Garrett ATPro as soon as they are shipped. I started out with Garrett and I know I can speak the same language as it does. Not knocking Safiris, just not the one for me. I wish everyone else all the luck. Onus

this is a very good detector... hits silver deep, which I like alot... Just wish the target Id wasn't so generic.....

I'll be interested to see how/if you like the AT Pro... I'm interested in one also, but will wait a bit to read thru the stories and weed-out the BS that comes with a new release.

Sorry to hear about your detector change Onus. I remember when you got it and seems like you had problems from the git-go. I'll have to say you sure did'nt give up. I do think some of your problems should have been dealt with by Minelab. You're battery problem may have had something to do with all of it. Never seen any machine use batteries like yours. Anyway best of luck with whatever detector you choose. HH :minelab:
