Some Advice

Hi Guys

I have been detecting for many years Using Whites DFX + Minelab Explorer. I live in the Uk at the moment and I after watching some of the water video's I am starting to see the massive potential of getting into river detecting here in the UK. In all my 30 years of hunting I have never heard or seen ANYONE in the water, salt or fresh lol. Maybe this is the undiscovered detecting area's of my part of the UK! One thing that Scares me is ordinance in the rivers, as there was all sorts of WW11 training around here! I could just see myself digging a grenade up :stretcher:

I never really thought of River fords, but I just found a location of one where an Army of 20 thousand men crossed in the 1600's  There has to be something in there right?

It seems to me that a AT Pro might be the machine to use rather than the AT Pro Gold because with the Pro I could be in Both Salt and Fresh Environments. What are your thoughts AT user's?

Thanks for the advise!

Do it! Although it's good to 10', you don't need more unless you're snorkeling/scuba diving. I have zero (naught) regrets with the AT Pro.

You'd be able to determine the size of a target in Pro Zero Mode. No Grenades!

I've seen many youtube videos from there and haven't seen any in the water either. Must have a lot of sharks. OR, Maybe it's just too cold.
