Some Air Tests With The Infinium Using Small Lead Samples

Some of these test are typical for lead items,unfortunately similar to gold items of similar size an weights.In Air,Soil is a different kettle of fish?
Did you try Silver items? may be very different.Garretts infinium bit dumb an shallow on small lead an Gold. air an soil.as are many PI.
the twin tone effect for garrett on infinium throws out many users till they tune in on using it.
This a new machine for You?
How is the larger Eliptical coil option for you. an Tests. Thanks for your Posted Tests.Interesting.

Here are some test figures from my Infinium coils; remember that they are not a true indication of how well the coils will perform on In Ground targets which in most cases will be significantly better.
5 x 10 DD
0.14gm solid.....6mm x 4mm 0.2mm=====6.5cm
0.12gm hackly......................................Nil Response
0.23gm solid....4.5 x 5mm.....................11cm
0.32gm sluggy......................................4.0cm
4.74 gm solid....1.5 x 1.0 x 3.0cm..........18cm
U.S. 0ne cent... 19cm (whisper)
U.S. 1/4 Doll.....27cm ..
AU one Doll.......21cm ..
Au two doll........20cm ..

0.14gm........6.5cm
0.12gm Hackly......Nil response

There was some slight elec interference at the time but repeated testing gave very similar figures.
There is not much difference between the two big coils but the mono would appear to be the more sensitive of the two and gives better results on larger solid nuggets of around 0.5gm and up.
