Some clad and a cheapo silver ring..

Went out late this afternoon and hit a school a few blocks from my house. Only found about 35 cents in the playground ( same one where I found the homemade gold ring ) . Didn't want to drive anywhere else as it was getting late so hit the patch of beaten down grass next to the playground ( area about 50'x50' ) and found the rest of the loot including the ring. Ring was laying flat so got a squirrely signal but dug it anyway. All the coins were shallow. Total was $3.05 for about 90 minutes of groveling in the dirt.

Nice pile Bill. I'd take about any ring right now.........I've been in a drought:detecting:

Im with the A-man... I haven't seen a ring come out of the ground for a long time.
Now shot-shell hulls - thats another matter. I'll go toe-to-toe with anybody on them darned things.

As for rings, I aint seen one in a coon's age. Im glad you found one, though.

Did you ever get that gold ring tested? You must have an acid test kit someplace with all your detecting gear. You must be almost in shape enough to dust off your GTI 2500 with all the hunting you've been doing. Glad you're fully mended (from last years surgery.)

Chris

Yeah I'm back in shape and will probably whip out the 2500 for a few spins, then I've got the 550, 1500, 1350, Infinium, gathering dust,
