We went out to Sacramento for an event for my son (He won The World Tittle in Soft Style Karate for 17 and under:hot:)

Got out a few hours in a Sacramento Park and some hunting with the husband at a Park between San Francisco and Sacramento.

Included is a 1976 Kennedy Half, 1956 D and 1942 S Wheat's, California Fair No Cash Token, 850 Mexican Silver Ring, 925 Chrystal and Silver slide and a ring and child bracelet.

I have included all the coins found and if you look you will see a lot of corroded pennies.

Thank You for looking and Happy New Year

There's some beautiful and very old parks in Sac. They were hit hard back in the 1970s and '80s though, so you gotta be one tough cookie to pull more silver and wheaties out of them nowadays :) It can be done though :)

Nice haul from some hard-hit parks. And congrats to your son for his karate honors!

Way to go Eva! Congratulations to all of you guys! Glad to see ya back!

Thank You for the nice comments
I missed you all too!

You are not kidding about Hard Hit Parks in Sacramento
Everything was shallow and the wheat's were about 4 inches

I was approached by two detectorists, one had a DFX and the other a Tesoro
They had approached to say Hi and to see the ET, neither had found Silver in the Park I was detecting!
But, it was nice to meet them and talk detecting:)
