We just learned that Ian will be graduating with his platoon on Friday! He is officially a U.S. Marine!
God is so Good!
Thank you to all of you who have been praying for Ian (and us) through this. It is clear to see God's hand in both the care that Ian is receiving and the decision that was made to allow him to graduate. When we talked to Captain D. he said that they reviewed Ian's performance throughout boot camp and felt that he had done an outstanding job and had earned the right to become a Marine. We are so thankful and excited for Ian.
Thank you again for your prayers for and encouragement to all of us. And a special thank you to our church family - you were all so encouraging to us yesterday. We have truly been held up by your prayers through all of this.
